| Clinton Hart signed a 5-year contract extension on Monday with the Chargers, this according to the AP. “It’s a day that I’ve been waiting for,” Hart said. “I’ve put in a lot of work. I feel blessed and I’m happy to be part of the Chargers for a few more years so we can make that run at a world championship.” Hart started all 19 games for the Chargers last season including the playoffs, and produced 85 tackles and five INT during the regular season from the strong safety position. |

| Omare Lowe is back in Seattle. The Seahawks have signed the defensive back to a one-year, $605,000 deal, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer reports. Lowe was with the Seahawks in training camp 2005 but then spent 2005-07 with the Falcons. He grew up in the Seattle area and played at the University of Washington. |
