Dwyane Wade, G, Miami HeatFriday 3/7, 6:13 PM CT
Dwyane Wade missed Friday night's start due to soreness in his surgically repaired knee but could be back in action on Saturday, according to the Star Tribune. The injury woes continue for the Heat.
David West, F, New Orleans HornetsFriday 3/7, 5:13 PM CT
David West is expected to be out of action until Wednesday due to his injured ankle, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune. He will be missed as he is averaging 19.7 points and 9 rebounds per game.
Alexander Johnson, F, Friday 3/7, 4:27 PM CT
Alexander Johnson has been suspended for Friday's game due to a flagrant foul on the Raptors' Bagnani earlier in the week, according to the AP. Johnson is only averaging about 12 minutes per contest this season.
David Harrison, C, Minnesota TimberwolvesFriday 3/7, 4:07 PM CT
David Harrison has been suspended for one game for misconduct, according to the AP. Harrison was previously suspended for five games back in January for a drug violation.
Mo Williams, G, Cleveland CavaliersFriday 3/7, 3:55 PM CT
Mo Williams will miss Friday's game due to his abdominal strain, according to the Oregonian. Royal Ivey will get the starting nod against the Trail Blazers. Williams is considered day-to-day, so with any luck, he'll be back this weekend.
Andrei Kirilenko, F, Utah JazzFriday 3/7, 12:55 PM CT
Andrei Kirilenko didn't travel with the Jazz for Friday's game, according to the Deseret News. The Jazz consider him to be doubtful for Saturday's game, so it appears we won't see him return from his sprained hip until next week.
David West, F, New Orleans HornetsFriday 3/7, 12:52 PM CT
David West will be a game-time call for Friday's game, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune. He worked out a bit Thursday after missing Wednesday's game due to a sprained left ankle, so hopefully he'll feel well enough during pre-game warmups to play tonight.
Bonzi Wells, G, New Orleans HornetsFriday 3/7, 12:49 PM CT
The Hornets do not expect to get Bonzi Wells back in the mix for Friday's game, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune. He probably won't return from his bruised Achilles tendon on Saturday, either, so keep him benched.
Yao Ming, C, Houston RocketsFriday 3/7, 12:42 PM CT
Yao Ming expects to be ready to play for China in the Olympics, according to the AP. "The surgery was very successful and I'll start physical recovery very soon," he wrote. "I'll do whatever I can to overcome the difficulty and play for China in Olympics and be in my best form. "I'll see you in the Olympics. Thanks, everybody." Yao is recovering from surgery that repaired a stress fracture in his foot. He's basically going to be the face of China at the Olympics, so he'll face incredible pressure to play. Let's hope that doesn't set him back for the 2008-09 fantasy season.
Trevor Ariza, F, Los Angeles LakersFriday 3/7, 12:37 PM CT
The Lakers now expect Trevor Ariza to miss the rest of the regular season, according to the LA Times. They had hoped that he'd be ready to return from his fractured foot by mid March, but it now appears he won't be available until the playoffs. He wasn't a fantasy factor in any but the deepest of leagues, anyway.
Andrew Bynum, C, Los Angeles LakersFriday 3/7, 12:34 PM CT
Andrew Bynum still hasn't started running on a treadmill, though he could begin doing that next week, according to the LA Times. He's been testing his injured knee by running in a pool and on an elliptical machine but still has no timetable set for his return. However, the soonest we might see him in game action would be early April.
Chucky Atkins, G, Denver NuggetsFriday 3/7, 12:20 PM CT
Chucky Atkins is aiming to return to game action on Friday, according to the Rocky Mountain News. He's been limited to just nine games this season due to sports hernia surgery. It should take him a bit to get his legs under him, but he isn't likely to have any steady fantasy value down the stretch, regardless.
Mo Williams, G, Cleveland CavaliersFriday 3/7, 10:53 AM CT
Mo Williams remains listed as day-to-day, so it's not clear if he will be able to return from his abdominal strain for Friday's game. The injury isn't believed to be serious, so he may end up being a game-time call for tonight's run with the Trail Blazers.
Yi Jianlian, F, New Jersey NetsFriday 3/7, 10:51 AM CT
Yi Jianlian will not be ready to take part in Friday's game, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. He's nursing a sprained right wrist, and it's not clear when he'll return. Charlie Villanueva will benefit most from Yi's absence.
Shawne Williams, F, Dallas MavericksFriday 3/7, 10:45 AM CT
Shawne Williams was activated for Thursday's game for the first time since an acquaintance wanted on a murder charge was arrested outside of his home last week. Coach Jim O'Brien said the move was just because the Pacers were short on players, according to the Indianapolis Star. Williams only played six minutes and should continue to be a non-factor for the foreseeable future.
Willie Green, G, Philadelphia 76ersFriday 3/7, 10:40 AM CT
Willie Green sustained a knee injury near the end of Wednesday's practice, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. "We had a minute left in practice, and it was a little bump. Nothing serious, and I iced it down," said Green. He worked out Thursday and is expected to run Friday night against the Sonics.
Zach Randolph, F, Los Angeles ClippersFriday 3/7, 10:29 AM CT
Zach Randolph was a late scratch Wednesday after being expected to return to action, according to the New York Daily News. He's probably going to sit out Friday and is iffy for Saturday's run, too. The Knicks say he has a deep bone bruise in his right foot, but it could well be a bruised ego and playing for a lousy team that has him disinclined to lace up.
