| November 5, 2008 The AP reports that Glen Murray is seeking full payment for the final year of his contract that was bought out by the Bruins over the summer due to a pre-existing injury. After recording 17 goals and 13 assists in 63 games last season, the 35-year-old Murray was bought out of his contract in July, receiving two-thirds of the $4.1 million he was slated to make in 2008-09. By doing so, Boston saved $1.38 million - which Murray now is looking to recoup. |
