The 30-year-old Streit has gone from being a late-blooming defenseman who was fighting for ice time to a versatile performer who has become one of the Canadiens' most valuable players. He has 38 points in 56 games this year, including 23 points on the power play. When asked how much Streit would receive on the open market this summer, Carbonneau said: "Millions." |
