He said, "I love Montreal and I'm hoping to stay here for three, four, five more seasons. I know I'll get offers, but I'm hoping to stay here. Montreal gave me a chance to play and I'm happy here. Anyone who knows me, knows that the most important thing for me is to be happy."
April 18, 2008 Mark Streit, out with an injured hip, doesn't appear likely to play in Game 6, this according to TSN. Streit was unable to skate on Friday and will be a game-time decision at best.
