Chargers say out with Woods and in with Walker San Diego, CA (Sports Network) - The San Diego Chargers waived
wide receiver Rashaun Woods on Tuesday and claimed receiver Gerran Walker
off waivers from Indianapolis.
Walker earned All-Patriot League first-team honors in his senior year at
Lehigh University, collecting 38 catches for 608 yards and four touchdowns. He
also returned kicks for Lehigh with 29 returns for 702 yards (24.2-yard
average). The 5-foot-9, 188-pounder signed with the Colts as an undrafted free
agent following the draft.

Contrary to earlier reports Antonio Gates should be ready to go in week one despite his bum foot. Though he is officially considered probable he practiced fully at the end of the week.
