Jags extend Spicer's contract Jacksonville, FL (Sports Network) - The Jacksonville Jaguars inked veteran
defensive end Paul Spicer to a contract extension on Friday.
The club did not disclose the terms of the contract, but the NFL Network
reported that it is a two-year extension worth $8 million.
The 32-year-old Spicer, the defensive team captain last season, led the Jags
with a career-high 7.5 sacks in 2007. The 10-year veteran recorded 50 tackles
(36 solo), three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.
