March 15, 2008 The Dolphins have shown no interest in retaining Samkon Gado for next season, according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. Apparently, they don't find the 2.8 average for yards per carry he posted last year that enticing.
November 28, 2007 The Dolphins cut Samkon Gado last week after activating Ricky Williams, but with Williams now out for the season and Jesse Chatman hobbled by ankle and neck injuries, the team is expected to re-sign Gado. According to the Miami Herald, Gado is more likely to start this week than third-string backup Patrick Cobbs, who was the lone running back standing on Monday night after both Williams and Chatman were knocked out of the game.
