Suspended Bengals linebacker Odell Thurman has allegedly violated probation on his drunken driving conviction, the AP reported. Thurman has been ordered to appear in court for failing to show up for a scheduled meeting with his probation officer. If the judge decides Thurman violated his probation, he could be sent to jail. | July 26, 2007
Odell Thurman will not get back on the field for the 2007 season. His petition for reinstatement was turned down by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell on Thursday, according to the AP. Thurman was suspended for the 2006 season after skipping a drug test and later being arrested for drunken driving. Goodell didn't give a reason for why he denied Thurman's request. |
