Even though Ronnie Brown got through all of yesterday's practice, it's not clear whether he will play through his ankle and knee injuries in Week 17, according to the Miami Herald. "''This is still probably a game-time decision as to what we do," coach Nick Saban said. "A game-time decision involves whether we are going to make him active, but it also involves -- he has prepared well for this game -- how much we choose to use him in his circumstance."

Coach Nick Saban is concerned that after the rookie missed three weeks of training camp in a holdout, he may not be ready for the full workload. "We got him six, seven touches in this game, 20-plus plays," Saban said. "I don't think he's ready to carry it 45 times. Hopefully, we can get him into that 12-to-15 touch mode. But we're going to have to keep playing him into it."
