Though Peyton Manning will make his 160th consecutive regular season start in Indy’s season finale, Jim Sorgi will handle the bulk of the workload. “I know Jim Sorgi’s going to play at least a half,” head coach Tony Dungy told the Indianapolis Star. “I don’t know how early he’ll get in the game, if he’ll get in the first half. You play for your team and you really can't worry about anybody else. We've got to get ourselves ready to go and just play the best we can and get ourselves ready for the playoffs.”

Jim Sorgi signed a three-year contract extension over the weekend, which keeps him in one of the best gigs in sports: Peyton Manning's caddy. Perhaps we'll see Sorgi at the end of the year if the Colts don't need their Week 17 game. Until then, he's on headset duty - Manning is as durable as they come.

The Colts brought back backup Jim Sorgi with a $850,000, one-year tender Saturday, according to the AP. Sorgi was a restricted free agent.
