As expected, the Bengals placed Chris Perry on injured reserve yesterday, according to the Cincinnati Post. Perry broke his right fibula Sunday and underwent season-ending surgery on Monday.

Chris Perry could take some snaps at wide receiver for the Bengals this weekend, according to the team's website. With Antonio Chatman and Tab Perry on IR and Kelley Washington out this week, the Bengals are very thin at wide receiver. Former practice squad player Glenn Holt could be active as the No. 4 receiver, and Perry may be seen as a better option.

Chris Perry was activated off the PUP list Friday, the Bengals official site reports. He's coming back from an ankle injury. The Bengals can't wait to get Perry's receiving skills back into the offense, as they're down a host of support receivers (Kelley Washington, Chris Henry, even Tab Perry) for this week's game with Carolina.

Perry is returning from an ankle injury. The Bengals waived Quincy Wilson Thursday, clearing an open roster spot that could be filled by Perry against the Panthers.
