August 31, 2008 Jets running back Jesse Chatman was suspended four games by the NFL for violating the league's steroids policy, according to the New York Post. However, Chatman's agent, Brett Tessler, claims that his client did not test positive for any substance, saying, "Jesse never tested positive for a steroid or any other performance-enhancing drug. Near the end of last season, the league claimed he had a diuretic in his system that they said could also be used as a masking agent."
