Eric Heitmann inked a contract extension that will keep him in San Francisco through the 2011 season, according to the Santa Rosa Press-Democrat. He receives a signing bonus of $1.25 million, with base salaries of $800,000, $1.4 million, and $1.95 million over the next three years.

Eric Heitmann will miss the rest of the season because of a broken right leg that required surgery, the AP reports. Heitmann has started 45 straight games over the last three seasons, playing center and right guard.
