Dwight Freeney (leg) was banged up in Week 5 but the team believes he will be able to play through it, according to NFL.com. "He strained something in his leg on the first fumble, but he went back in for about five or six plays," HC Tony Dungy said.

Dwight Freeney, who is recovering from surgery to repair a Lis Franc fracture, is slated to make his preseason debut Sunday against the Bills, according to the Indianapolis Star.

Defensive end Dwight Freeney practiced in pads on Tuesday for the first time since foot surgery last November, the AP reports. "I should definitely be ready in three weeks," Freeney says. "I think I'm close (to 100 percent). I'm definitely good enough to compete and play." He underwent an operation after suffering a Lis Franc fracture.

Dwight Freeney is going to begin camp on the PUP list, and is expected to remain there for about three weeks, according to ESPN.

Dwight Freeney's rehab from a Lisfranc fracture remains on schedule, according to the Indianapolis Star. He has experienced no setbacks from the injury that forced him to miss the second half of last season. He said, "I’m doing everything I used to do: spinning and twisting and pushing, all of that. I’m getting work on all of that. I’m right on time."
