February 17, 2008
Dominic Rhodes will likely be released or at the very least be asked to take a pay cut by the Raiders according to a report in the Contra Costa Times. Rhodes would be at best the RB2 in Oakland behind newly signed Justin Fargas, but there is also the chance that Michael Bush, who missed all of this season with a broken leg, could eventually push Rhodes into the RB3 spot anyway. The bottom line with Rhodes is that unless he finds himself on another team to start 2008 he doesn't appear to have any more value that he held last season.
