The Texans placed Sage Rosenfels on IR Monday with a fractured right thumb, according to the Houston Chronicle. He suffered the injury when making a tackle on the last play of the first half Sunday. Bradlee Van Pelt will replace Rosenfels as David Carr's backup. | October 29, 2006
Sage Rosenfels took over for David Carr in the third quarter on Sunday after Carr's third turnover. Rosenfels completed 18-of-25 passes for 186 yards and three touchdowns with one interception.
