The Bengals held Rudi Johnson out of practice again Friday due to a thigh injury, according to the Cincinnati Post. Johnson was added to the injury report as probable after he missed Thursday's session, and the Bengals haven't changed his status. It appears he will play Sunday, but you'll have to check for updates to be sure.

Although he didn't start, Rudi Johnson will had a solid game against an injury-depleted Chargers defense on Sunday. Johnson rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries. He was held out of the starting lineup after showing up late for a team meeting.

Johnson was added to the injury report Thursday due to his sore back, but he looked fine when the team got back to work Friday morning.

Rudi Johnson said that he's feeling much better this season after having cleanup surgery on his left knee after last year, according to the Cincinnati Post. Last year, Johnson needed extra time to warm up before games and was in constant pain. "He's much healthier; he's a lot quicker and faster," quarterback Carson Palmer said.
