''Within his individual drills, I see the guy working hard to get better,'' HC Tony Sparano said. ``I think the guy shows up each day, and he has a purpose when he practices. He wants to get better at something each and every day.

With running back Ronnie Brown in the thick of rehab after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament, Ricky Williams has been temporarily thrust into the No. 1 running back job and will likely enter training camp with such a designation, according to Pro Football Weekly. Although it’s far too early to draw definitive conclusions, the early returns from the team’s offseason program are favorable for a seemingly changed and dedicated Williams.
