Report: Bucks to land Jefferson for Yi, Simmons New York, NY (Sports Network) - The Milwaukee Bucks are reportedly in
negotiations with the New Jersey Nets to ship forwards Yi Jianlian and Bobby
Simmons in exchange for forward Richard Jefferson.
The Sporting News reported the deal on Thursday afternoon.
Jefferson is coming off a career-high 22.6 point-per-game season. The Arizona
product also averaged 4.2 rebounds and 3.1 assists, playing a full 82-game

Richard Jefferson is not happy about being dealt from the Nets to the Bucks, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. Nets' President Rod Thorn said, "He didn't seem very happy. I spoke to his agent, I called him, texted him. I like Richard. He was here for a long time and I'm sure he still expected to be here. Unless you are the one pushing for it, it's always difficult when you are traded. You are going to a new place, have new teammates. It's hard at first."
