Bucks' Williams has surgery Milwaukee, WI (Sports Network) - Milwaukee Bucks guard Mo Williams had
successful surgery to repair ligament damage in his right thumb, the club
reported Thursday.
The procedure was performed on Wednesday in New York by hand specialist Dr.
Michelle Carlson in New York.
Williams is scheduled to be sidelined at least six weeks, after which he will
be allowed to resume basketball-related activities. He is expected to be fully
recovered in time for training camp in October.

The Bucks are reportedly close to naming Scott Skiles as their new head coach, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. Skiles was the Bucks first-round pick in 1986, but he lasted only one season with the team. He eventually went on to star with the Magic. He has posted a 281-251 record as a head coach with the Suns and Bulls.
Ramon Sessions was named the Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month of April, this according to NBA.com. Sessions was the only rookie in the league who averaged a double-double with averages of 11.5 points and 11.3 assists.
