McGrady out three weeks with knee injury Houston, TX (Sports Network) - Houston Rockets guard Tracy McGrady will
miss three weeks while rehabbing his sore left knee.
Dr. James Andrews said McGrady is suffering from general soreness in the knee,
which was surgically repaired last offseason. He had originally been ruled out
for a week, but McGrady said he would be out for three weeks after Tuesday's
workout at the Toyota Center.
McGrady has missed the last three games with soreness in his knee but posted
averages of 15.6 points and four assists through 15 games played this season.
Tracy McGrady will meet with Dr. James Andrews in Alabama on Monday in hopes of discovering a treatment plan that will better help him deal with a surgically repaired knee, according to The Sporting News Today. When asked if surgery was an option, McGrady said, "No, not at all. That is the last option."
