Corey Maggette is unhappy with the Clippers and has requested a trade, according to the L.A. Times. "Me and Coach [Mike] Dunleavy … we don't see eye to eye," Maggette said Friday. "Coach doesn't respect what I do. If that's the case, it might be time for me to go, move on and have a new beginning.

The LA Times lists the Clippers' projected starting five for the season opener as Elton Brand, Cuttino Mobley, Chris Kaman, Quinton Ross and Shaun Livingston. We had the Livingston news a couple of days ago, but with Ross in the lineup, that means Corey Maggette will come off the bench. A reduced role could keep him healthy for a change, but it would also have a profound effect on his fantasy value.
