April 5, 2008 Atlanta PG Mike Bibby seemed to be rolling into form, having scored an average of 20 points over his last nine games heading into last night's battle with Philadelphia. Then the wheels fell off as Bibby went 1-of-11 from the field and 1-of-4 from three-point range, never reaching the foul line in 39 minutes of play to score just 3 points. Atlanta is fighting to stay in front of Indiana for the 8th and final playoff spot in the East, and Bibby was brought in via trade to make that a reality. Look for him to come out with scoring on the mind today as the Hawks get that rematch with Philly on the floor.
March 27, 2008 Good news for an Atlanta Hawk team that is fighting for their Eastern Conference playoff lives. The results of Thursday's MRI exam on the injured thumb of Mike Bibby were negative, and the Hawks point guard is expected to play Friday against Chicago, this according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Bibby injured his left thumb in Wednesday's win over Milwaukee. He left the game in the fourth quarter and did not return.
