Wizards forward Antawn Jamison missed practice Thursday night after bruising his right shin during the morning session, the AP reported. The injury isn’t considered serious and he’s listed as day-to-day.

Antawn Jamison scored a career-playoff high 38 points on Saturday, but it wasn’t enough for the Wizards to defeat the Cavaliers. Jamison added 11 rebounds and went 15-of-27 from the floor, but the Wizards fell to the Cavs 98-92 and now trail the best-of-seven series three games to none.

Antawn Jamison, who had missed 12 games with a knee injury, scored 22 points in his return to the Wizards on Friday. He got off to a fast start, finishing the first quarter with 10 points on 5-for-6 shooting. He had six rebounds and three assists on the night, as well.

Antawn Jamison is expected to return to action on Friday against the Hawks, according to the AP. He has missed the past 12 games with a sprained left knee. "If everything is going well, I will stay in there," Jamison said. "But if I get winded, they will take me out. My mentality going into the game is that I am going to be playing the way I am accustomed to."

Wizards coach Eddie Jordan has ruled Antawn Jamison out for tonight's game against Miami, according to the Washington Post. However, Jamison is awaiting the word from the team's doctors, leaving open a possible return. Jamison has missed 11 straight games with a sprained left knee.

Antawn Jamison participated in his first full practice Monday since spraining his left knee on Jan. 30, according to the Washington Post. It's possible he could play tonight against the Nets. "If it was up to me, I'll play. It'll be more on how I feel after the light workout [Tuesday morning], making sure it's no stiffness," Jamison said. "I'll go out there and play in a wheelchair if I have to. We just want to be smart about the situation and make sure I help the team and not hurt it."

Antawn Jamison returned to practice for the first time in a month Monday, though he's not quite ready for game action yet, the AP reports. Jamison is coming back from a knee injury. "The main thing is to make sure my knee is getting stronger and that I am able to go through traffic and see how it holds up," Jamison said. "So far, so good."

Antawn Jamison will miss 3-6 weeks with a sprained left knee, the AP reports. Jamison was injured when he banged knees with teammate DeShawn Stevenson in the first quarter of Tuesday's win over Detroit. Jamison, who underwent an MRI on Thursday, won't require surgery and will begin rehabilitation immediately.

The Washington Times quotes a Wizards source as saying that Antawn Jamison will be out "two to eight weeks" because of the knee injury he suffered on Tuesday night. Jamison was scheduled for an MRI today, and obviously that timetable will be refined at some point.

Antawn Jamison sprained his left knee in the first quarter of Tuesday night's game against the Pistons, according to the AP. He appeared to hurt his knee when he collided with teammate DeShawn Stevenson under the basket at the end of a Wizards fast break. The Wizards announced Jamison would not return to the game.
