July 24, 2007 Troy Hudson does not believe he figures in the teams future plans and hopes to get a buyout of his contract to become a free agent. The Minneapolis Star Tribune reported that Hudsons agent, Bill Neff, is expected to submit a buyout proposal as early as Monday to settle the three years, $19 million left on his deal. Hudson is reportedly seeking 85 to 90 percent of his remaining contract. The Wolves made a much lower offer last week.
June 26, 2007 Troy Hudson wants to play elsewhere next season. Hudsons agent, Bill Neff, told the AP that he has contacted Minnesota owner Glen Taylor and requested the team try to move his client. It wont be easy, though, as Hudson signed a six-year, $37 million contract following the 2002-03 season, but has started just 39 games the last four seasons and averaged 5.9 points and 2.1 assists in 34 games last year. Hudson has been plagued by injuries.
April 15, 2007 Troy Hudson didn't travel to Sunday's game against the Warriors because of a sore left knee, according to the AP. He suffered the injured during a recent practice.
