They won their league best 17th title humiliating the undermanned Lakers, with a 39-point victory representing the largest championship deciding margin of all time.Kevin Garnett had his best game of the series, leading all players in scoring (where he tied Ray Allen with 26 points) and rebounding. Allen himself left the game early after being poked in the eye, only to return and nail 7-of-9 three-pointers on his to making Finals history with 22 treys in the series.

Ray Allen had his best game of the playoffs Tuesday night, scoring 26 points on 8-of-12 shooting (including 7-of-9 from 3-point range) in Boston's 131-92 win over LA in Game 6 of the NBA Finals.

Ray Allen will start Game 6 of the NBA Finals Tuesday after to leaving Game 5 immediately at its conclusion to tend to a sick child, according to the AP. "Ray is doing good. I mean, he's going to be fine," coach Doc Rivers said. "Obviously, he’s not had a lot of sleep over the last three days, probably. … We were thinking about it before this morning, just how much he's probably had. It can't be much. But he's ready. You can see it, he's ready to play."
