Sam Cassell is considering shutting himself down for a while to get over his ailing heel injury, according to the LA Times. "I've got to get this out of my system, so I might have to sit down" for a while, Cassell said. Expect Shaun Livingston to play well while Cassell isn't around to steal minutes from the fellow point guard.

Cassell has been slowed by a calf injury and could see limited action until he's healthy. Regardless, unless Livingston flops (which is unlikely), Cassell will be relegated to sixth-man duty this season.

I just want to make sure I'm ready when I come back."
