July 4, 2008 Daequan Cook has separated his left, non-shooting, shoulder, according to the AP. He wont be able to participate in the five-games-in-five-days summer league schedule starting Monday in Orlando.
March 10, 2008 Daequan Cook stepped into the starting lineup due to the loss of Dwayne Wade and he rewarded the team with a career-high 23 points, triple his average of 7.1 points per game. Cook made 5 of 10 from downtown though he was only able to pull two boards and dish out two assists in 43 minutes of action.
