The Raptors and Jorge Garbajosa have agreed to terminate the final year of the forward's contract, the Toronto Sun reports. Garbajosa played in only seven games this past season to complications arising from a left leg/ankle injury suffered in March 2007. Jorge Garbajosa still has no timetable for his return from left ankle/leg surgery. "He's making progress," GM Bryan Colangelo informs the Toronto Sun. "We're being very cautious with respect to his return. A strict protocol has been established with respect to his rehabilitation." Garbajosa played in only seven games this past season. He initially broke his lower left leg and dislocated his left ankle in March of 2007, and further complications led to a surgery this past December. |
