Forward Andrea Bargnani suffered what may be a minor head injury after a collision under the basket in Toronto's game against Miami this evening, according to the Associated Press. Bargnani was driving to the right baseline with 9:57 left in the third quarter when he collided with Miami forward Alexander Johnson in mid-air, slamming his head on the floor. He remained laying down for several minutes before walking to the Raptors' bench with assistance from medical personnel. He returned to make two free throws and then met with Miami team neurologis Dr. Allan Herskowitz for examination. | February 24, 2008
Andrea Bargnani had arguably his best game of the season Sunday, scoring 25 points on 9-of-17 shooting (5-of-10 from three-point range) while adding seven rebounds, five assists and two blocks. If we could only get this kind of effort from Bargnani night in and night out, he could be a star. |
