October 16, 2008 The Desert News reports that usual swingman C.J. Miles played some point guard Wednesday night, scoring 13 points, dishing seven assists and hitting two free throws with 8.4 seconds remaining in regulation to force overtime in an eventual 120-119 exhibition loss to the Denver Nuggets. It was the first time since his days at Skyline High School in Dallas that the now 21-year-old fourth-year NBA pro has played the position in an actual game.
