If the Knicks' two so-called "stars" remain out, Robinson could shine. But there's no guarantee, so long as the temperamental Larry Brown is coaching the Knicks.
February 25, 2006
Nate Robinson was inactive last night. He will see his minutes slashed with the arrival of Steve Francis in New York, according to the New York Daily News. "I'm proud he won the Slam Dunk contest," coach Larry Brown said, "but I don't think they have a scoring system like that when you play a game."
February 19, 2006
The Knicks 5-foot-9 rookie Nate Robinson became the NBA's new slam dunk king Saturday night, according to the AP. He beat out 6-foot-6 Andre Iguodala of Philadelphia, 6-9 Hakim Warrick of Memphis and 6-9 defending champ Josh Smith of Atlanta.
