Gerald Green tweaked his back during a shooting drill after the morning shootaround, according to the Dallas Morning News. Coach Rick Carlisle said he was hopeful that Green would be OK for tonight's game against Memphis.

The Star-Telegram reports that Gerald Green has been particularly impressive in the preseason while playing alongside Jason Kidd. In Tuesday's loss to Chicago, Green scored 19 points in only 16 minutes.

Gerald Green scored a game-high 29 points in Saturday's 124-109 win over the Kings, to go along with six boards, two assists, and three steals. He only played 20 minutes.

According to the Star-Telegram, Gerald Green sounds like he may be turning the corner in a mostly disappointing career. "I feel like I just didn't take advantage of my opportunities," Green said after a Dallas Mavericks summer league team workout. "I blame myself; I don’t blame nobody else. I've changed, and now I'm a new guy ready to work and ready to get at it."

The Dallas Morning News reports that the Mavs have reached a one-year agreement with Gerald Green.

Updating a previous report, it is now official. Gerald Green has been acquired by the Rockets in exchange for Kirk Snyder according to the AP. Green is only averaging five points a game over 29 contests as he has long made it known that we would like to be moved to another team. Snyder had also asked for a trade so this deal appears to be one that will be a win-win, at least for the players, though neither figures to make an immediate impact in the fantasy world.

According to the Blazers Blog a trade between the Timberwolves and Houston is expected to unfold. In the deal, Minnesota will send F Gerald Green to Houston for G Kirk Snyder and a second-round pick. No official word has been announced. Stay tuned.
