Ben Gordon scored a career high 40 points in the Bulls 109-103 victory over the Heat on Wednesday. Gordon went 11-for-17 from the field, 17-for-19 from the line and added a triple to register his 40.

The injury that knocked Ben Gordon out of last night's game was diagnosed as a sprained left thumb, according to the Sun-Times. That's on his non-shooting, so hopefullly the injury won't limited his game action.

Ben Gordon was knocked out of Friday's game with a left wrist injury. He slipped while driving to the basket on Bruce Bowen and hurt the joint while trying to break his fall. The streaky shooter had 21 points in 25 minutes before exiting the game.

Ben Gordon came off the bench to score a season high 37 points Thursday in the Bulls 101-100 loss to the Rockets. Gordon, wildly inconsistent so far this season, scored 30 of his 37 points in the second half to lead the Bulls on a late comeback attempt that fell just short.

Ben Gordon's starting job may be in jeopardy, according to the Chicago Tribune. Gordon has not looked good at all thus far, shooting 39.9 percent from the floor and 20 percent from beyond the arc. Presumably, Chris Duhon would start in place of Gordon if a change is made.

Even if the Bulls select guard Brandon Roy in Wednesday's draft, they aren't likely to trade Ben Gordon, according go the Arlington Heights Daily Herald. “I’ll put this to bed,” GM John Paxson said Thursday. “Unless a blockbuster deal comes up, I’m not trading Ben Gordon. I think he is extremely valuable. No one has presented anything to me that I would remotely consider for Ben.”

Bulls GM John Paxson disputed a report coming out of New York that the Knicks and Bulls have held trade discussions involving Ben Gordon, according to the Chicago Tribune. "There's no interest on the Chicago Bulls' part," Paxson said. "It's a complete fabrication."

Ben Gordon tied an NBA record by going 9-for-9 from beyond the three-point line Friday night. He finished the game with 32 points and five assists.

Ben Gordon played through his bad left ankle on Wednesday, putting up 19 points, according to the Chicago Tribune. He is expected to be in the lineup Friday, as well.

Ben Gordon sat out the entire third quarter of Monday's game because of an upset stomach. He still scored 19 points in 32 minutes.
