LeBron James agreed to a three-year, $60 million contract extension with the Cavs on Wednesday, according to ESPN.com. "I knew all along -- and I had always said -- that I wanted to stay here in Cleveland, so it's a terrific day for me and my family to actually make it official," James said. "Now I can continue to concentrate on basketball and helping bring a championship to Cleveland."

LeBron James can sign a five-year contract extension worth about $75 million this summer, and all signs indicate he'll do so once the Cavaliers present one to him on or after July 1, according to the AP. "I'm really happy right now with what's going on," he said. "I love my teammates and the coaching staff. We'll see what happens."

An MRI on Monday revealed that the knee injury of of LeBron James is just a swollen bruise, according to the Akron Beacon Journal. He suffered the injury on Friday against Golden State. James has been playing through the injury.

He had X-rays on his knee earlier Saturday, and he expects to have an MRI exam on it after he gets back to Cleveland. "I came real close" to not playing, James said. "If it had been a one o'clock game, I wouldn't have made it."
