Concern is growing over Mike Dunleavy's injured right knee. He suffered tendinitis this summer and has appeared in only one preseason game. Dunleavy does not expect to play again until the season opener on October 29. "He didn't react well in his first game. We had Sunday off and it was very, very tender Monday, and that's three days off. He didn't make the strides we thought," head coach Jim O'Brien informs the Indianapolis Star. Dunleavy adds, "I basically can't run on it, can't cut on it, slide, plant, pretty much all the verbs used to describe playing basketball."

Indiana forward Mike Dunleavy enjoyed an outstanding evening of hoops in the Pacers' 123-132 win over the New York Knicks. Dunleavy shot an impressive 12-of-19 from the floor, 6-of-8 from three-point land, and 6-of-8 from the free-throw line to score 36 points.

Mike Dunleavy had 33 points, seven assists and six rebounds to lead the losing Indiana Pacers (29-43) on Wednesday night. The Pacers are trying to catch the streaking Hawks, but the loss to the Nets now leaves them 2 1/2 games back in the weak East. Dunleavy has been great. The forward is averaging 22 points in March and 18.7 on the season. Throw in five rebound and 3.5 helpers per contest and the son of an NBA player has become very fantasy-friendly.

In 14 games since the all-star break, the perennial underachiever is averaging 22 points a game while shooting better than 47% from the field as it appears he has finally found his NBA "legs."

Mike Dunleavy was off target in the Pacers win over the Bobcats as he only hit 2-of-12 from the field, and missed all six attempts from long range. He finished with 12 points, while going 8-for-8 from the foul line. He made five turnovers in the game as well, but should bounce back fine.

Mike Dunleavy scored 32 points on Tuesday night as the Indiana Pacers snapped a three-game losing streak by beating the Seattle Sonics, 114-107. Dunleavy has been lighting up the box scores as of late. On the season the Pacers forward is averaging 18.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game.

Mike Dunleavy tied a career high for the second straight game Sunday, scoring 36 points on 11-of-17 from the field. He also filled up the statsheet with five rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block. This is easily the best season of Dunleavy's career, and he is a must-start at the moment.

Mike Dunleavy scored 34 points on Friday night to lead the Pacers to a 113-103 victory over the Nets. Mike nailed four 3-pointers and played almost 41 minutes though he remarkably recorded just one rebound and one assist. Dunleavy came into the night averaging just 13.5 points over his last eight games, so it was to see him breakout tonight.

Mike Dunleavy injured his knee in the first period on Saturday night and ended up not playing at all in the second half of the Pacers victory over the Blazers. The good news is that he played five minutes in the second period before leaving for good, but the extent of the injury is not yet known. Dunleavy is enjoying the best season of his career this season with a 17.7 point per game average with 5.9 rebounds and 3.5 assists, so monitor this situation closely. AP
