Utah forward Carlos Boozer did his best, shooting 6-of-16 from the floor and 6-of-8 from the free-throw line to score 18 points with 12 total rebounds and two assists in the double-double effort.
Deron Williams
The Utah Jazz couldn't find the answer to the Lakers puzzle this evening, falling 111-107 in Game 5 of their Western Conference semifinal series. Team leader guard Deron Williams went 8-for-19 from the floor, 3-of-7 from three-point range, and 8-for-8 from the charity stripe to score a team-high 27 points, adding 10 assists and five rebounds to the effort.
Lamar Odom
The Lakers were challenged throughout, but they emerged victorious via a 111-107 win over the Utah Jazz. Forward Lamar Odom was a big part of the effort, going 8-of-12 from the field and 6-of-6 from the free-throw line to score 22 points, adding 11 rebounds.
Kobe Bryant
As usual, it was Laker guard Kobe Bryant leading the way in the Lakers' 111-104 win over the Utah Jazz in Game 5 of their Western Conference semifinal series. Kobe went 6-of-10 from the floor, 1-of-2 from long range, and 13-of-17 from the free-throw line to score a team-high 26 points, adding six rebounds, seven assists and two steals to the stat line.
Mehmet Okur
Mehmet Okur registered a double-double in Wednesday's 111-104 loss to the Lakers, as he scored 13 points with 13 boards, along with one assist, one steal, and one block. The Lakers now lead the series 3-2.
