The Braves recalled Peter Moylan from Triple-A Richmond on Saturday to take John Thomson's spot on the roster, according to the AP. Moylan will be with the Braves only until early next week because Thomson's spot in the rotation comes up on Tuesday at St. Louis, and the Braves will use either Tim Hudson on short rest or recall another pitcher from Triple-A.

The Braves optioned Peter Moylan to Triple-A Richmond on Saturday to open a roster spot for starter Travis Smith, according to the AP. Moylan had a 9.53 ERA in seven appearances for Atlanta.

The Braves recalled Peter Moylan from Triple-A Richmond Wednesday, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Moylan pitched one scoreless inning in an earlier stint this season with the Braves. He will replace Lance Cormier on the roster.

The Braves optioned Peter Moylan to Triple-A Richmond on Friday in order to clear room on their roster for the arrival of Martin Prado, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Moylan appeared in only one game for the Braves this season, working a scoreless inning. "It's the nature of the game," he said. "I'll go down, work hard and get back up. It won't be my last time here."

Braves rookie Peter Moylan made his big-league debut on Thursday by pitching a scoreless inning in relief. The 27-year-old Australian was signed by the Braves after he was spotted during the World Baseball Classic, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
