Ken Rosenthal of FoxSports.com reports that the Mets are wanting to trade for Dan Haren, not Rich Harden as previously reported. Dan Haren plans to keep pitching despite a cut he sustained Sunday, according to the Contra Costa Times. "I dug a hole in my thumb (while pitching) and it was gushing blood," Haren said. "I lost a few pitches (Thursday). I almost hit the pitcher (Jared Fernandez). I lost feel for my pitches, but I can't take time off." |
