Adding to a previous Newsday report, the New York Daily News says that Jose Reyes will open the 2010 season on the disabled list. Reyes will remain in New York over the next few weeks and have his thyroid levels tested regularly. He won't be able to exercise normally until his levels return to normal, and the timetable is two-to-eight weeks for that portion.

March 10, 2010
Jose Reyes will not need treatment to tend to his overactive thyroid, according to the New York Daily News.
