The Baltimore Sun reports that Aubrey Huff has agreed to a three-year contract with the Orioles. Huff will probably get most of his time at first base or DH unless the O's make a trade, but he can also play the outfield and third base.

Foxsports.com reports that the Orioles and Aubrey Huff are close to an agreement on a three-year contract. Huff would probably see time at first base, DH and both outfield corners rather than have a set position.

The Orioles have made Aubrey Huff a contract offer believed to be for three years and around $6 million, according to the Baltimore Sun. Huff hit .267 with 21 homers and 66 RBI for the Devil Rays and Astros last season.

The Pirates have contacted Aubrey Huff about possibly signing as a free agent, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. The Rangers, Indians and Orioles are the other teams apparently interested in his services.

Now that Morgan Ensberg has returned from the DL, Aubrey Huff will spend most of his time in right field, according to the AP. Since joining the Astros, Huff is hitting just .224 with a homer and four RBI in 16 games.

The Devil Rays traded Aubrey Huff to Houston Wednesday in exchange for minor leaguers Mitch Talbot and Ben Zobrist, according to the Houston Chronicle. Tampa Bay will also reportedly pick up $1.625 million of Huff's salary. Huff hit .283 with eight homers and 28 RBI in 63 games with the Rays this year. He should get most of his playing time in right field in place of Jason Lane, who was optioned to Triple-A Round Rock, but he will also spell the slumping Morgan Ensberg at third base.

As expected, Aubrey Huff returned to the starting lineup Tuesday, one day after being given a "mental day off" by manager John Maddon. Huff was 0-for-3 with a walk.

X-rays and an MRI revealed that Aubrey Huff sustained a sprained left knee during yesterday's game, according to the Tampa Tribune. Huff said he is day-to-day, and his status for tonight's contest is uncertain. "It just got numb there for a little bit, but I was able to stand on my left foot and bounce up and down, so that was a good sign," Huff said. "There were no pops [in the knee]. It's just stiff."

"I played third all through college and the minors so I don't think this would be much different, but I just haven't had much chance to do so here without getting switched around." Manager Joe Maddon has stated that Huff will get his "primary" work during spring training at third base, although he will also see time at first and right field.
